SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SMPHI) proposes to construct a residential condominium to be built in a property with an area of 30,301 located at Benigno Aquino Avenue, Barangay Buhang Taft North, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The proposed project is composed of five lots, owned by SMPHI. The project will be built through SMPHI’s subsidiary, SM Development Corporation (SMDC). The project will be referred to as the “Style Residences”.

The proposed project was conceptualized to meet the growing demand for residential housing in Iloilo City. The company will develop the residential condominium for those looking for housing conveniently located near places of work and education. The development concept provides access to luxurious urban living through vertical villages which are near or integrated with a commercial retail environment, giving residents access to cosmopolitan lifestyle. 


The construction of multi-storey residential condominium was recognized as a better option than single storey houses due mainly to the scarcity of land in the city. The project is expected to benefit families who are mostly medium to high income earners employed in the government or in private companies as well as students studying in 



The property is located beside the SM City Iloilo and the Iloilo Business Park of Megaworld Properties in Mandurriao. The site bounded on the west by the Iloilo Business Park and the property being developed by Megaworld, on the northern and southern sides by empty lots, and on the east by the parking lot of SM City Iloilo. 


The site is accessible from SM City Iloilo parking lot through the Benigno S. Aquino Avenue. Public transportation is available along Benigno S. Aquino Avenue and Taft Street. Benigno S. Aquino Avenue is an 8-lane two-way road that runs along the eastern side of SM City Iloilo while Megaworld Boulevard is along the far west of the property. Taft Street is located at the far north and at the far south is Pison Avenue.


The residential condominium project will consist of five residential buildings, each with 16 storeys and roofdeck. Overall, the proposed residential condominium project will have a total building floor area of 99,485.96 sqm. The project will also include an open area or site development area of 24,424.44 sqm for road network, green areas, on-site parking and site utilities. 


Amenities, equipment and machinery to be provided by the project are as follows: 

  • Multi-purpose area, landscaped gardens , clubhouse, basketball courts

  • Sewage treatment plant (STP) 

  • Materials recovery facility (MRF) or garbage segregation areas 

  • Parking area 

  • PWD parking 

  • Emergency power generating sets 

  • Well-trained security personnel 

  • Fire protection and alarm system. 


In terms of parking, the residential condominium will allocate enough parking slots to  comply with the parking requirements of the National Building Code and the local government. A total of 431 parking slots will be designed by the project.


Clearing operations and land development have started this Feb 2018 while the actual constructiosn of the towers will start Nov. 2018 (for buildings A,B and C) and Nov. 2019 (for buildings d and E) to be finished by Oct. 2021 and Oct 2022, respectively. Turn-over of units will be announced accordingly.
